To the rescue

I remember clearly the day when Dan landed RZ at the Maitland strip. We went there to check on them, also to show off. Well... needless to say we landed there as well. I remember my client being very grumpy with me (as he was to pay for the retrieve). I remember telling him that life is all about adventures like this, and that he should really just enjoy it! Aoraki

My favourite shot of Aoraki / Mt.Cook. Although I have more dramatic ones, this one always reminds me of the legend. I am sure you can discover the face of Aoraki on the photo. According to Māori legend, Aoraki was a young boy who, along with his three brothers, were the sons of Rakinui, the Sky Father. Cub

Aerotow from Omarama, during a competition. This is not any ordinary Cub, but the Cub that belongs to Gavin Wills. Probably the most adventurous cub on the planet. Although Gavin has hidden the skiis away from the plane, so no more snow-landings, we take this plane to some great places to rescue gliders. This Cub also starred in the movie "Flying South"  At the controls is my good friend, Toby, who is now an Air New Zealand Pilot.
